We will advocate for regular checks and preventive measures across the student community, not only for freshers but for all students.
We establish a direct channel for students to connect with the student representatives. A dedicated channel where students can file a complaint with supporting proof with anonymous identity and keeping their identity protected from the accused during the initial review.
A 24 hour helpline contact to be set up. We will advocate for a dedicated emergency helpline for immediate assistance, directly connected to Ashoka's security personnel, for situations requiring urgent on-campus intervention.
I will establish a weekly 30-minute Open Office Hour where any student can meet the First-Year Student Representative on the Anti-Ragging Committee to discuss concerns, seek guidance, understand university policies, or simply ask questions.
Every complaint gets a written acknowledgment and initial response within 10 working days of filing, subject to the nature of the case and the University's procedural requirements.
We will advocate for strict action against complaints that are deliberately fabricated, knowingly false, or malicious, following due process.
